So I suppose the last minute is as good a time as any to tell everyone that this weekend, my friend Claire, our moms, and me are crossing the California state line to go to Portland for the Stumptown Comics Fest. And what, may you ask, is this fest I speak of? It's a gathering of underground comic artists (or in my case, plain old artists without a sense of direction), and I've been set up with a table where I'll be selling prints, drawing caricatures for $5.00 each, and doing my best to pretend I'm not a recluse. All proceeds go towards building my confidence in my ability to go to these things.

In other news...don't you hate artistic blocks? It's like having Autism; all these wonderful, brilliant ideas swirling around in your brain, and the minute you pick up the tablet pen, crap comes out.
