*Snort* Guess he's from the Disney side after all.

Okay, I guess I have to explain. Remember the Disney TV show Recess? I've been watching it obsessively on Youtube ever since Robert Goulet (Mikey's singing voice) died, and I get to an episode involving the savage kindergarteners (who remind me a lot of the people at my own school), and this big, redhaired kid named Tubby enters the picture. It wasn't long before I went, 'Wait a minute, this kid looks familiar.' And when I finally realized who he resembled, well, after I finally made myself stop laughing and got back into my chair, I started on this.

(By the way, judging by that kid's weight, I think we can make more than a few tasteless jokes about how Axel lost his heart :evillaugh:)

Same! I remember watching that and wishing that my school could have something that cool. I think that I identified with Gretchen. There were definite stereotypes in some of the characters, but the writers also took the time to cultivate people into real characters. I love the episode where Spinelli joins the Ashleys^^

Ugh, when I was younger, I was a complete tomboy. I hated everything girly from dresses to dolls and the color pink. Yet most of the adults seemed to have this idea that boys should play with boys and girls with girls, so while the guys were off doing all the fun stuff I wanted to do, I was stuck with a bunch of frilly girls who treated 'friendship' like a cult, and boy, they could be completely nasty if you even let on that you didn't agree with the rest of them on anything. And the leader of one group I wound up with for a while looked exactly like Ashley A.
