In the immortal words of Randy Meeks; 'There's a formula to it!'
I haven't drawn these two in months. It's nice to have my classic angst duo back in action. So this comic was, surprisingly, not inspired by vampire fanfiction, but by a certain overrated book called Twilight. Teenage girls LOVE it; the back of the book is crawling with reviews that call it one of the best books of the decade. And me? I think it's one of the worst things I've ever read, and these people would know why if they could only see that the exact same thing is all over Fanfiction.net. So I started drawing this, and realized that I had another chance to make fun of yaoi in the process. So I dressed Yuka in drag and the fun ensued. Took three days, but I'm sure it was worth it. Check out my cameo in the fifth panel as The Female Classmate Who Was Rejected One Too Many Times. UPDATE: This comic now has a follow-up; [link] |

You don't happen to have the name of the author of that book? I just gotta read it! Sounds like a laugh!

It seems like her books aren't even released around these parts anyway... mah... I really wanted to take a peek at it
I like reading books with basically no original plot- or character depth- especially if the author has no real sense of how to make a text and story flow. That way, when I compare it to my stuff, I can at least say that it's not THAT bad
